Our Story

I’m Stefanie - founder of Gigi Event Studio, mum of three, and someone who’s always believed that children’s parties deserve just as much style as they do sparkle.

When I planned my own children’s birthdays, I searched high and low for celebrations that felt as beautiful as the memories I wanted to create - elegant backdrops, refined colour palettes, and thoughtful touches that still lit up little faces with joy. What I found instead was a gap: most kids’ parties were either cartoon-loud or painfully DIY, with little in between for parents who crave both design and magic.

So, I set out to change that.

With a degree in Events Management and over 15 years of experience in the events industry, creating meaningful, elevated experiences has always been my passion. I also hold a degree in Primary Education and spent many years as a primary school teacher, giving me a natural understanding of how children experience celebration—what captivates them, calms them, and brings them joy.

But Gigi Event Studio isn’t just my dream…it’s a family one. From the beginning, my family has helped me build this business from the ground up, supporting me in transforming a vision born at my kitchen table into a full-service planning studio and boutique venue. We’re proudly family-run, and that warmth, heart, and care is poured into every celebration we create.

Located in Cumbernauld, just outside Glasgow, Gigi Event Studio specialises in stylish, design-led children’s parties - but we also love curating milestone moments for grown-ups, from baby showers and christenings to intimate dinners, birthdays, and luxe picnics. Whether hosted in our beautifully styled venue or delivered off-site, our events are always thoughtfully executed and effortlessly elegant.
